Default can I monitor 2 Gmail accounts on the Tmobile G2?

Can I have 2 gmail accounts loaded in my G2 and switch between them by changing accounts like I can on my BB? Or do I have to pull the battery each time I want to monitor my 2nd account. Can I create 2 gmail apps on the phone, one for each account? Thanks for any help for this newbie. I want to dump this BB as soon as possible!!
