so far besides no root the only grip i have is the wifi sucks, it seems like its doesnt take advantage of the N functionalities, its really slow and varies in range when i stand in the same spot

If I were to manually update my G2, would all my apps be erased?

it shoudlnt but i would follow these instuctions first then apply the update

migrating from something before 2.2 and want to keep your apps:?

i love the fact that i can be on the phone at 7% battery left for 30+ minutes and it only loses another 4%

i also love the fact i can go 14-20hrs without charging my phone with more than moderate use with an average of 17 hours without a charge

Yes, I updated mine and it nuked the whole thing. Fortunately I backed up most of my apps with Astro first.

Its here! The OTA to 2.3.4! If you installed the older 2.3.3 you have to wait for the OTA to be pushed or downgrade

im not on google talk ... (i dont live in the states) my cellular service doesnt give me gprs for this phone nor do i have wifi available right now.
