Default Electricity coming from my G2 phone

My phone puts off so much electricity when in use, I have to set it down or use something to hold it with.
I notice it when I am on the web watching a video or even using the touch screen for texts or for games, I haven't noticed if it does it when not on the web (most the time I'm on the web) It also gets really hot
What can I do. It's hard to use my phone when I can't touch it
