So I'm wondering are we getting the update I been hearing a lot of not getting it but also we are www.tmonews.com/2011/11/follow-up-to-the-lg-g2x-ice-cream-sandwich-story/

The most recent verdict is that an update is forthcoming. But then, that's what they said about Gingerbread, and look what happened to that. We can probably expect it by 2013.

Either way, it would be better, in my opinion, to get a rooted version from XDA. They are working on it as we speak, and if you don't mind not calling anyone right now, it's perfect.

i hope the cyanogenmod 9 comes out to the lg g2x atleast

They have released a Q&A announcing it will come out with G2x soon.
