Default Need a G2x expert seriously broken phone.

I had the G2x since it came out and recently needed repairs. The G2x glass digitizer was broken, and eventually so was the Charging/usb port, which is also part of the antenna and volume controls assembly for this phone. Prior to the "fix" I was unable to charge the phone and the battery depleted.

I ordered both parts from ebay and managed to replace both the glass digitizer and the antenna/volume control/ usb port.

The touch screen works great, and the phone charges again. However now I have an even bigger set of problems:

The loudspeaker of the phone now no longer works.

The phone does not get signal, it only gets wifi, it does not recognize my sim card. If it works it only does so during initial start up.

So far I have attempted the following fixes:
I ensured that every single tab inside was connected to the motherboard, there are no lose connections. Replacement of said parts went smoothly actually.

I had froyo installed, I manually updated to gingerbread 2.3.3 to see if its a software issue.

After the above failed I backed all my data to the sd card and to this pc, and went ahead and did a hard reset.

After even that failed I made this thread. I am out of ideas did I get a busted antenna? I can't even locate the loudspeaker, although I suspect is inside the bottom plastic piece. Is there something I should of known prior to install? I already spent 75.00 fixing this thing in parts, id hate to turn it in to some repair guy that will charge me another 150.00 Any help would be much greatly appreciated.

Default Same problem here.

Mine has the exact same issues. My charge port stopped working, so I ordered a new port, installed it, and now I get 2G or nothing at all, usually with no bars or one bar. I even stood next to a known T-Mobile cell tower (As close as I could get), and it didn't help at all. I would really like to know what's up with the antenna replacement. It seems that this isn't just a coincidence, are the replacement parts faulty, or did we both install them wrong somehow?

I was very careful to install the new part exactly how it was before removing the faulty part. If anyone with more experience here knows anything, a reply would be greatly appreciated.
