Default T-Mobile Rooting / Free WiFi tethering (hotspot)

Hello everyone,
First of all, I am new to this forum. I am planning to root my galaxy note 2 version 4.1.1
but I want to make sure rooting the right way.

is there a link that helps me rooting my note2 without any issue?

is there an app or a good way to get T-Mobile Free WiFi tethering (hotspot) without getting charge monthly after rooting?

Thanks in advance for helping.

I'd suggest going to XDA and trying Jedi Master x10. Has the carrier restriction removed and a ton of great customization options. Also an over clock kernal.

Just make sure you read up and know what you are doing before undertaking any of these modifications. ^_^

I am trying to do the same thing....I dont know which rom to install on my note 2? I am signed up to a 2 year contract with tmobile after getting my note 2 for a low 200.00. I am wanting to overclock it, if it is possible? I want to be able to tether? however I am paying for unlimited call, text, etc. can someone help? me?

Now open ot, hit menu and disable ics check
Close it
Open it
Backup apns

Now enter ur tmo apn again
Wifi teather will work

Dont try to run it before u do this

Or wipe and reflash the rom
