Default New to android need root help

Hello all,
Been trying to root my S4 for 3 days now. I'm using a macbook and motochopper and every time it says either device not found or daemon successfully started and stops there. I've also tried using a pc with the USB driver from samsung.com. USB debugging IS enabled but when I plug the phone in it does not prompt with the RSA key. Can anyone send me a link to the proper tools to root with macbook? TIA

Hi cody. Welcome to the forums

I've searched and can't find how to root using a mac. I saw someone say they set up windows in parallel on their mac to root. If you can get back on a PC, use this guide to root.
