Default edge network on a old mytouch 3g

hey guys I have the old T-Mobile edge total internet plan (interner2.voicestream.com) I was wondering if anybody know how to get that to work with a mytouch 3g. I tried using the internert2 apn with no luck. I used to use this apn with an older iPhone and the edge plan worked fine.
