IMO, the "smileys" I get in Handcent, the android ones, are, errr, must have been designed by... uhh, uhhh, for lack of a better word, uhhh , an idot.lol No disrespect intended.
Anyone know of a way to to change those?
Must be some kind of icon pack, would be a nice option for Handcent or 3rd party developer.

Off-topic, but I don't think there's a respectful way to call a person an idiot.

Apart from that, I would also appreciate any help regarding the smileys.
Yeah, I was ignoring the typo. I was mostly just breaking his balls, anyway, but I've always been amused by people who seem to think they can say "eff you, you're an asshole" as long as they follow it up with "no disrepect intended." lol
So anyway, back on topic.
I had a good look at the folders on my sdcard, and there's no data folders for Handcent, so the smilies must be inside the .apk. Unless you know how to extract and compile APKs, you'll need to contact the developer to see if he'll add a way to edit or add smilies to the app.
Personally, they don't bother me, since they're not being sent that way to the recipient.
