Post Headset Pinout
Does anyone have the pinout for the headset jack on the HTC MyTouch 4G (T-Mobile US). I am trying to build /buy an adaptor for an external mic for video recording. I purchased one from KV connections and i think i got the wrong one as the speaker works but the mic is still using the internal one

this is the one I got (which does not work):

1 left+ tip
2 right+ ring1
3 ground ring2
4 mic+ sleeve

i think 3 and 4 may be reversed on the mytouch but i am not sure any thoughts?
