Exclamation MT4G stuck in boot loop

i was gifted a MT4G it wont go past the first screen that says my touch 4g it constantly restarts over and over ... i have tried putting the pd15img.zip on the sd card .. it reads it a lil blue bar fills up then nothing happens .. if i hit power it goes back to the boot-loader menu but nothing different happens if i hit recovery it just continues to boot loop and if i hit factory reset it continues to boot loop.

i will note that when i first did the pd15 ti said battery is too low change a battery but i let it sit for about an hour on the bootloader and the battery charged....

everything i find on how to fix the phone requires you to be able to access more than the bootloader .. please help here is the phones info i was told it was never rooted and it just started doing the loop .. he said before it would do it but if you pulled the bat and replaced it would boot.

The good thing here is you have the engineering Boot Loader installed and there is a way to toggle the security, I'll look up the commands for you.

New features in gfree.
gfree usage:
gfree [-h|-?|--help] [-v|--version] [-s|--secu_flag on|off]
-h | -? | --help: display this message
-v | --version: display program version
-s | --secu_flag on|off: turn secu_flag on or off
-c | --cid <CID>: set the CID to the 8-char long CID
-S | --sim_unlock: remove the SIMLOCK

The problem your going to have here is the fact you can't boot into the OS, your going to have to set up ADB and work with it that way but it is completely fixable and ADB is easy enough to get working.

I'll post the link on how to get you started and after you have that installed you should be able to toggle the S-ON to S-Off to install a rooted Froyo build. Here's the links your going to need...

Actually it's not to bad, I don't mind helping you out if your in it to learn something new. There isn't much out there at the moment that you can't do on your own if you put in a little time to study it, your at the stage I like to call the "Sub-Shop-Effect", you knew exactly what you wanted before you walked in the door but now there's a HUGE menu in front of you and you lose sight of why you were there in the first place.

The good thing here is your on the same device, this will make everything easier to get through so send me a PM with your info and we'll figure out when we can go over all of this. Seriously it's not that bad, there's just to many methods of doing the same thing out there.

Oh man, I have been having the same problem since the last three weeks. I have been everywhere, searching like mad trying to figure out the solution to the same problem you have (or had). Did you actually manage to get it fixed? My MyTouch 4G is doing the exact same thing, and all the information bits is also the same.

If you managed to get it fixed, can you please tell me how you did that? I know the basics of this sort of stuff, so you don't have to go into that much detail, but still, if you can help me out, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
