Default Importing Contacts

Is it possible for me to import contacts from an excel file I have with names and numbers?

Column A is all of the names, Column B is all of the numbers in xxx-xxx-xxxx format.

Try getting your contacts into iCal format (.ics) and look in the market for apps that can import .ics contacts.
