Greetings,
I broke the LCD while replacing the digitizer on my HTC Mytouch, and I didn't factory reset the phone before the procedure. Now I have a buyer for the phone. If I change my Gmail password on my desktop, will this prevent the buyer from accessing my email account (and app store, etc) after he repairs the unit?

Hi, noeyephone, and welcome to the forums!

There is a common misconception in that Droid refers to hte Android operating system. i doesn't - it refers to the Family of Phones and devices sold by Verizon Wireless - the Droid Line.

Android is the Operating System behind these and other fine phones and devices, including your HTC MyTouch.

Therefore, I'm moving your post over to the HTC MyTouch forums.

One thing - yes, if you change your password, he will not be able to see any new mail, but if there is still mail left in the cache, your buyer may still be able to see those email. I'll let other MyTouch owners respond as to the best way to remove all of your data even with a broken screen.
