Hi folks,

I've bumped this from the "Applications" thread as I didn't get any responses.

Hope someone can offer some advice.

I'm using Andriod 1.5 on a T-Mobile Pulse.
Calendar was syncing both ways with google web app and working fine.

Then stopped syncing from phone to web.

To clarify,

Web to Phone - syncs ok
Phone to Web - doesn't sync (unless, see below)

I tried all the things I'd read from deleting calendar storage, reinstalling latest firmware etc. to ensuring I'm using my personal calendar.

After about 2 weeks of trying various fixes, I stumbled on a solution.

If I leave the default reminder on the phone to "10 Mins" for each event, it syncs to web.

If I change the default reminder on phone to "none", it doesn't upload to web app.

I don't want a reminder. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried changing the web app default reminder to match the phone but it didn't make any difference.

I currently have set the "Alerts & Notifications" on the phone to "Off" to stop getting constant reminders for every event in my calendar.

Can I ask a favour.

I'm now completely out of ideas for this problems and don't know where else to try.
No-one else appears to have had this problem.

Would someone with a Pulse see if it affects them too?

i.e. create a new calendar event on phone, set reminder to "None" and see if it syncs to google web calendar.

It would be helpful if I know that this is a problem with phone/web rather than just my setup.

for me every kind of two-way syncing is just working very well.

Don't know why mine doesn't work if reminder is set to "None"

it just came to my mind that once i've had the same kind of problem on the original rom. try this one out: after you created the event on your phone, wait a minute, then go to that event again, click on menu/edit event, and do nothing, just tap on 'save' at the bottom. check if the event appeared in your online calendar. this trick worked for me.

Give the man a cigar, it worked.

Actually found didn't need to wait a minute.
Create event (no reminder)
save
Go back into edit event and save.
Success

thanks Johnhino for asking the question and thanks to Helikopter for the answer! It sure works. this has been driving me mad for 4 days! Now I can restore sanity.
