Default Galaxy Note 2 or SIII?

Any Idea when the Note 2 comes out and which would you get?

Can't afford either of them but the Note 2 has a bigger screen (I assume). Can't really go wrong with either one.

Each phones has it's Pros and Cons. The upside of the Note 2 is that it'll have JB (Jelly Bean) upon release, downside is that release date and price won't be announced until late October. I have a Galaxy S3 and I gotta say that I do not regret getting it at all. I got it at Walmart for 150.00 on T-Mobile with a TRULY unlimited plan. I too was debating the same thing but I jumped on this because I didn't know how long the price was gonna last. I expect the Note 2 to be a pretty penny. Another reason I opted for this was because I already knew there was a good development community behind it! What kind of user are you OP?

Samsung is going to announce it, I believe, October 24th, for all carriers.

That is very understandable. The Note2 is more like a "mini" tablet. I already have a tablet so if I was shopping, I would be leaning toward the S3.

That Note2 is a beast though. I really like both of them.

Heck, I think even the S3 is too big. The S2 is about the limit, for me.

I know there's not much difference, but you gotta draw the line somewhere, and, for me, I think that line was reached with the S2's size.

That's awesome is it the Tmobile 4G prepaid plan? How much you pay and how is their "4G" network?

Unless you want the super large screen I'd choose the GS3, it's large but not too awkward to handle with one hand. And it's available now and although there's already a few phones with specs equal to or greater than the GS3 this phone is still impressive to me three weeks after having it and there's only one phone that could tempt me away... the HTC EVO/One X but I think this phone will make me suitably happy until either the new EVO or the Galaxy S 4.

Yeah I pay a pretty penny for my plan. It's a contract plan, not their prepaid, so I'm paying $90 bucks a month. On the plus side it is for unlimited everything. No data cap! I figured f**k it why not? And the network is great, fast, reliable, and compared to the others more reasonably priced for what you get. I'm in a HSPA+21 area and I'm not disappointed at all. It's worth it. I'll admit that part of me does want the pure vanilla goodness that is the Nexus... oh well.

I going for the note II all the way. Honestly, it's not my perfect phone. That would probably be a GS3 with the s-pen features and a portrait keyboard. However, the screens on qwerty phones seem to be stuck around 4 inches.

I've got the Galaxy nexus right now, but I'm hoping I can grab the note II on some type of value plan promotion like they just had. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll have something special for the Note II on Black Friday.

How do you like the Nexus? The Google version? Verizon or Sprint versions?

I love it. I still wish it had an SD card slot, but I haven't really missed it. Now that I've tried the TMo Value plan and buying phones off contract I'll never go back. It's much cheaper and provides me with major flexibility. I buy a new phone when I want and sell the old one to offset some of the price.

Yeah that is nice and the consistent updates directly from Goole. That's what I would want, and the development community behind that thing is HUGE! I'm considering getting a Nexus 7 before the year is out just for that fact, if these rumors of 4.2 are true... doubt it.
