I want to switch from Boost Mobiles to TMobiles $30 data plan. i also want to buy a windows phone unlocked ! but i am having much difficulty in finding such a suitable phone. seems like the only phone i can get my hands on is lumia 710 but thats a tmobile phone. which has only a 3g unlocked varient.

i wouldnt suppose i could use the tmobile simchip in a tmobile lumia 710 in order to get on the $30 plan bandwagon ?

So far ive searched many phones but im not finding much answers. I wouldnt want another android phone. any suggestions ?

I'd wait until the Lumia 810 is released, any phone that doesn't come with Windows 8 will not be upgradable to Windows 8. There is also an HTC Windows 8 phone, though the Lumia, from reviews, is said to be the better of the two phones. It appears, based on the specs I found for the Lumia, that it should also work on AT&T.

The easiest way to purchase the phone is from a T-Mobile store. Buy the phone at full price and it will work on the T-Mobile $30 plan (it shouldn't need to be unlocked to use the $30 T-Mobile plan). Though there should be no problem getting T-Mobile to unlock the phone since you bought the phone outright.

dont worry about 4g capable i see you came from boost and their speeds stink here in nyc, tmobiles 3g speed alone im getting 11-12mb download so in theory tmo's 3g is far better than boosts "4G" at least in my part of the country
