I usually get between 16-22 mbps in Chicago with my S2. Side note- I finally unlocked my AT&T Captivate and got 6 mbps in the Wicker Park neighborhood with the same sim. I don't know how much of Chicago has been refarmed though.

Depends on where you are. I have gotten speeds ranging from 7 Mbps to 26 Mbps depending in where I'm at. You get the same speed as T-Mobile post paid customers.
Basically of you use data for the usual stuff, you have nothing to worry about.

I had to. Sprint 3G (and Boost) was horrible for me. 50-75 kbps just didn't cut it. Also, the contract was just too much money.

Boost, I usually get around 10 mbps.
It's still only WiMAX though.
I'm having a great day with T-Mobile though.
