Default Oops. I goofed.

Well, At one point I was going to sell the HOX and so I did a reset on the thing, restoring it back to stock. Sort of. I still have TWRP on the thing and my boot loader is still unlocked, but when I did the reset, I lost root.

I think I got one of the last 1.85 firmware phones, so, thats okay. Now, to get root back, I suspect I either need to download a rom that is already rooted or find the program and hem haw around with it to root it again, is this correct?

If you still can access your recovery, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to flash superuser rather than flashing an entire custom ROM to gain root again.

Turns out I made more work for my self then I needed to. I tried to flash su zip through twrp and it failed but while playing in recovery I found an old nandroid that put me back to where I wanted. Good thing for nandroids.
