I want to make a task that will open up the video recorder directly.
Anyone know how?

send intent is above my head.... never tried it.
If it works, you can ignore my post.

Another approach which I think will work is autoshortcut.
Create a shortut to the video you want (which can be a little tricky...I use folder organizer to create shortcut to files).
Then when you use the autoshortcut plugin to access that shortcut, it should open it in Android default video player.

Awesome! works well. only thing is when you setting it up within the send intent make sure the TARGET is set to ACTIVITY.
