Default Widget question

Is it possible for Tasker to remove/replace widgets by other apps. I want to switch out my music widgets (Google Play Music and Moodagent) depending on which app was used last.

Would it be possible to make a shell script or edit settings in android to change the widget? How are app widgets stored, are they just a SQL entry or are they a file somewhere in the internal memory?

My phone is rooted, Motorola Triumph running 2.2.2 with Tasker 1.6.

No, it is not possible with Tasker. Pent has discussed this in the Tasker forum on google.
