Default Task for navigation

Im using go launcher on an s3 and want the status bar at the top to hide when I have navigation opened. Is this possible? I know how to do it manually but I would like to automate it. Thanks.

No ideas from me at the moment if you're not rooted. I've turned off my status bar permanently in a rooted program called GMD gestures from the Google Play store. If you were rooted and had a program like Tasker you could set it to activate the status bar off gesture whenever you opened up Google Maps.

Or try requesting a feature update to allow full screen mode like other programs have.

With Go launcher you can hide the status bar but I dont know how to implement it in tasker.

I don't have S3 or Go launcher. I'm thinking the Go launcher setting might apply while you're on homescreen... does it persist when you go to an App?

One thing that comes to mind. Anything (like a setting) that can be using a homescreen shortcut can be done by Tasker via autoshortcut. A surprising amount of things can be done by shortcut... discover them using the program QuickShortcutMaker.
