Ok, there are Incredibles on eBay already that have sold for $1500. People simply have more money than common sense! Even if I only keep my phone long enough to cancel and pay the $350 ETF I would still be over $1000 better off than them!

Would anyone actually buy a $1,500 phone? It's not like it's going to be sold out everywhere. With that money, you might as well fly across the nation to get the phone, spend a couple days on vacation, and then fly back.

These were auctions that ended a few days ago. But still, I admit I am chomping at the bit to get mine and tell AT$T to shove it and sell my iPhone, but I'm not THAT impatient!

I'm pretty sure the couple people doing this are so disgustingly rich that they don't give a shit and want the phone tomorrow.

That's all I can think of. I mean are people really that stupid?

theres only been 3-4 cases where the incredible sold for $1500, and the buyers of all those auctions are no longer a registered user on ebay. so it was obviously a sham and no transaction went down. all others are selling between high 400's and 600, as they should.

Could be people from other countries, where the phone isn't available, trying to grab one so they can make $$$$ from a knock-off version.

People are listing it now for $800-1200 buy it now. If I got one on the 20th like a few did selling it would have been smart.

Geez, I now have a dilemma. I pre-ordered two DI's at BB and have two pre-ordered with VZW. I wonder if I should spring for the extra two at BB and turn around and sell them both on EBay for a profit. I wonder if there will be a shortage of DI's after launch that will push the price up?
    What you guys think????

:D, I wish I had four in my hand right now, but unfortunately I'll be waiting until the 29th like many others.

I purchased two DI's through VZW online (1 for me and the other for the wife) and am still deciding on the pre-orders I have at BB. Despite the two $50 dollar gift certificates I had to purchase to pre-order at BB, I just wanted to cover my bases in the event there was a shortage of DI's available. It seems that won’t be the case being that some forum members are already getting their phones.

Most of these sellers on eBay, if they have under 50 selling ratings and under 99%, I wouldn't trust them with more than about a $50 sale, until they build up some more cred.

Think about what you're asking: "Are people really that stupid and irresponsible with their money?"

Now think about the last couple of years. =)
