So far I seem to be losing battery a little bit quicker. It will take a few days to get a good idea of the battery life.

I seem to be losing battery kind of quick also, but I wonder if it's because I'm playing with the phone and trying to get it back to all of my old settings and apps.

Yep my battery life is really bad right now, but I haven't stopped playing with the phone since last night. Once things calm down and you get as used to the phone as you did after buying it things should improve.

same here, but I did find if you go into the sync settings and change those, it wont eat the battery so fast. you can set the sync time for different apps, IE... G mail, weather, etc...

I noticed battery draining really quickly. The phone was constantly synching with 100% awake time. Turns out it was trying to sync my Gmail contacts and failing... over and over again. So I unchecked Sync Contacts under Settings> Accounts and Sync > Google and my battery seems to be lasting longer now.

You can go to Settings > About Phone > Battery > Battery Use and it will tell you, by percentage, what is using your battery the most.

Yup, very useful setting. You can even put a shortcut on one of your screens to pull it up quickly at any time.

    Disable Auto-Sync
Settings > Accounts & sync > Background Data

Should help those of you concerned with battery life post 2.1.

Background data needs to be on for things like the Market. When you go to use the Market it will prompt you to turn it back on.

somethings up, my awake time is pretty high. The only difference between my 1.5 and 2.1 setup, is the fact that I now have 2 gmail accounts setup.

Don't touch your phone for like 1 hour and see if your awake time is still high.

I turned off auto sync and my battery is awesome. Left it off the charger last night and only lost like 10% if that.

I remember when I first got the phone, I thought the battery was horrible. Then I stopped playing with it 24/7...and it was great. Now all I want to do again is play with it. Definitely think once you go back to using your phone like a normal person, battery will improve.

I just checked my awake time and noticed it's very high as well. Out of the 23 hours it's been Up, only 4 minutes of that has it not been "awake".

Cell Standby is listed under Battery Use at 67% of my juice.

Anyone else seeing stats like that?
