Is this correct? Will the new 2.1 update this month bring 16 million colour support to the x10?
If their previous comments were true - then the answer is yes ,however se have been economical with the truth several times recently re the specs of this device so,I think its a wait and see
Yes. It's a known fact that Android 1.6 only supports up to 65K colors. This isn't a hardware limitation. The Xperia display supports 16 million colors.
Well... When i watch some of those "leaked" X10 2.1 vids, the colours do look much better, so i guess there is something to it.
Wohooo finally a beautiful screen!
Saw a release from Sony in a news site that said that even with Android 2.1 the colors are still limited to 65k. Here
I know another joke by SE at our expense!
But as I keep saying the X10 might be a joke when it comes to all the failed promises by SE but hey...
The Dropped the Satio with in a couple of weeks of launch and offered no updates for that!
Maybe we should have all learned from the Satio?
Actually there was an update for the satio. I had one before the x10. It was released in March ang gave hd video. As far as i can tell three still havent approved it. Does not bode well for three branded phones ehen 2.1 comes out
