Hey all, I see there are a lot of you having trouble with the recent update.

Back up what you don't want to loose and do a factory reset. then reinstall your apps and contacts and whatnot. The same "buggyness" occurred in some cases with the Defy when it updated - some of the launchers and certain apps conflicted with the update. Once you reset and reinstall your goodies (at least in the case of the Defy) most everything worked smoothly and there were great improvements to speed and battery life as well as the updates mentioned in the changelog.

right out of the box, it sucks. slow and locks up with 2.2.1.

I thought upgrades were supposed to make things BETTER! they ruined a great phone
