2.3 gingerbread / built in wifi hotspot ?

hi all
im putting this question out to the room .
on 2.2 there is the built in wifi hot-spot witch i used daily for tethering to my laptop .
BUT ... will 2.3 still have this feature or will i have to find an app from the market to do the job .
i think the wifi hot-spot im using now is perfect for my needs and im not looking forward to it being removed if it is at all anyone know or could check if your lucky to have been updated yet.
i cant see three removing it as they support tethering on the one plan but anything is possible in mobile land lol

I updated yesterday on Orange UK..I still have the hotspot app pre installed.... Which network do you use, some providers may of removed it I guess
