got a replacement phone, but my Eris always has the letter D under the 3g symbol. what is this about? I get a feeling this means my internet sucks. this is Eris #4 I'm tired of these problems. my browser isn't as fast as usual but I finally escaped the silent bug. any chance they upgrade the phone to like a Droid or incredible? Eris #5 would be unaceptable.

3g and D

The D is just there to let you know that your EVDO (3g) is connected but isn't doing anything. The D will disappear and you will see up and down arrows when you are using data. Basically just standby.
