    I'd love to be able to type shortcut phrases, and have longer words or phrases appear, preferably with SwiftKey Flow keyboard, but can't find any app or setting, any ideas?

    You can do this with the s pen. Go to settings and s pen then gestures and set up what you want.

    Thanks for the suggestion. But keen to be able to do using keyboard, to save time

    SlideIT keyboard has this function,it has loads of inbuilt shortcuts and you can edit them or make you own :D

    I use Thumb Keyboard and it has the function as well. Some defaults already in there: kr: Kind regards, My name, sml: :), thx: Thanks, tkb: Thumb Keyboard. You can add or edit these under Text Substitutions.
