Well, maybe "Hosed" is too strong a word....
But apps like Osmand+, DoggCatcher, and others - where I had specified that their data files be kept on external SD card - no longer work.
Seems like the new location has to be specified as /storage/extSdCard instead of /sdcard/external_sd.
Osmand+ is buying it, as are DoggCatcher and MoonReader.
DoubleTwist is not. At the moment, it looks like I've lost the entire music collection. Not a huge deal because it's real home is on my PC and once I get the directory location sorted out it should be a matter of re-synching.
Bottom line: if you don't like surprises, be warned....
