Hi just downing 4.3 for the s3 now from sammobile, are there any pros and cons for it?

There are no pros. It was a step backwards especially with battery life.

Id suggest getting a "de-knoxed" version mate but if you use that one, try and do a factory reset before judging it too harshly. A lot of people are having a great experience on it after what we call a "clean flash" :thumbup:

Been using 4.3 for a while now, after Factory Reset have not had a problem with it, runs great, give it a go you might be pleasantly surprised. Phil

I've reset 3 times already. 4.3 battery life still sucks. 4.1 was great. Could easily go 2 days without having to charge. Now I'm luck if I can make it to 6pm without having to charge.

It's a problem with all s3 phones and the 4.3 upgrade. It's widespread if you do a google search.

That and the forced update to maps 7.6...new maps sucks

Also not a fan of the messaging popping up on the lock screen without the option to shut if off while at the same time shutting it off in the notification.

Also don't like that we lost the temperature on the lock screen.

4.3 much like the new google maps is garbage.

The true lies in the middle. If you've made update to JB 4.3 (unfortunately as I) we can read that also in previous versions were numerous problems including an issue of drain batteries. I know that JB 4.3 isn't perfect (I've got it installed on my SG3) but I'm glad than I can try to optimise it thanks the advices from our forum.
