Help 4G Reception

Switched from a Droid Razr Maxx HD to a Droid Maxx. Getting terrible 4G in places where the old phone used to get great reception. Had the sim card changed and still the same issue. Anyone else have issues with 4G on the Droid Maxx?

Yeah I noticed it right away when I got my Maxx in August, tried the card switch and even a phone switch, no help. My problem was I would get good reception in my office in the morning and by 10am poor reception even though the 4g indicator said it was good. Price of a better(overall) phone than my old Bionic.

Settings | More... | Mobile networks | Network mode
... and change it from ...
Global
... to ...
LTE/CDMA?

Yes it is set to LTE/CDMA. Really do not want to return the phone and not sure if the phone has a bad internal antenna or that the Droid Maxx just has reception problems.

I have no problem. Mine is as good as (or better) than my Bionic. Perhaps you have a bar unit.
