4g is available near me, BUT very weak.. so I was wondering about picking one of these up, but I didn't know if someone used something like this already...

Any signal booster woul dhave been great today. My phone died twice because there is a cell tower outage (according to Sprint) in my area and my phone's been in roaming mode all day. Richmond,VA East End.

I think the 4G signal boosters are fixed location devices. I'm also pretty sure the electrical/radiation footprint might be high enough for me to not want to keep one too close.

It would be interesting if Clearwire/Sprint had a mobile 4G device, but I can't imagine how they'd pull that off.
