I was wandering if anyone had managed to find a way of watching 4oD on the hero? I am on Vodafone. I am not sure if this makes any difference at all. I have been trying to watch programmes for the last couple of days but no joy.

    Any thoughts?

It might be worth contacting the author of BeebPlayer about this.

Hmmm... IIRC 4oD requires windows media player 11 and is heavily DRM'd. Not sure its going to be possible to play it on any mobile device.

Edit: hmmm... or maybe that was the ITV version... cant remember.

4OD content plays well using the stock browser on seesaw.com, but it only works on Android 2.2

I'm going to root my hero and attempt an Android 2.2 install. Not sure if the flash will work though, but worth a look.

I think 4OD has a YouTube channel. You could try that using the YouTube player.

works fine for me in browser out of the box. HTC Desire HD. Would be nice to have an app for it though.

All off their stuff seems to be on YouTube nowadays, if anyone else is wondering how to get this on their hero.

I haven't tried it, but I'm assuming they haven't disabled the option to view their videos on the phone.
