Had my desire HD for a couple of weeks now. A few little issues though...

Camera - is there an option to take multiple pictures? Was called burst mode on my old phone.

Video camera - when in HD 720p mode I lose the option to zoom in. Is that correct?

Bluetooth - I have been having quite a few problems with the phone not connecting to my car audio. It's a Ford fiesta. I enter the passcode and for a day or two it will work fine and then it will suddenly not connect and I have to re-enter a new code to pair them.

Gps - noticed when at work that when using Google maps my location was about half a mile out. That was using mobile internet. On WiFi at home it gets fairly close to my location.

This is how it's supposed to work. Every wifi network is registered to an address so this is how the phone works out where you are when connected to your home wifi. When using mobile internet to find your location the phone times how long it takes a signal to travel from phone to cell tower then back again which is often displayed in google maps as a circle over part of the map. For the most accurate location data you need to have a view of the sky and turn gps on.

Video camera - The lens doesn't have a proper zoom, just a digital zoom, so if you zoom in, you're no longer at 720p resolution.

Same applies to the stills camera, if you zoom in when taking an 8mp picture, it becomes a 7mp picture (or worse depending on how much you zoom in), but it allows you to zoom in when taking still pictures, because its easier than having to go into settings and reduce the quality every time

I am annoyed (because of the recent iPhone advert) that I have to say, no, there is no video editting software. There is a thread all about this somewhere, and fundamentally, the software hasn't been made because it requires so many codecs, to suit all the different codecs each manufacturer uses.

The only reason the iPhone has the software is because Apple can control what format video is recorded in, and so only need to make software with one codec.
