    Hello all,

I've recently picked up the Play, and I'd have to say I absolutely love it (especially with the classic PSP live background). :D

I've already have most of the "oids" emulator on it, however I've noticed that the N64iod lags slightly, and psx4Droid does not seem to work properly at all.:( I did want to know how the FPSE did on it and is it worth the buy? Also, has anyone heard rumor of a DS emu?

A concern I have is Madden 11 tends to lag a lot and Asphalt 6 ever so slightly. Has anyone has this issue? If so, what kind of configuration setting can I manipulate to make these run more smoothly.

Also, anyone review BackStab, RainbowSix, or Modern Combat 2?

This is just random, but I think it would be cool if someone made a launcher that mirrored the original PSP interface.

Speaking of PSP, are they compatible with FSPE or psx4Droid?

Last one, what are some good tips for optimizing the stock android 2.3 on the PLAY? What are some thing that I must do to it?

Sorry for the lengthyness, I can turn a simple thought into several written pages.

    FPSe is worth the buy.

N64oid wait until a custom rom is made with the option to overclock the cpu.

    DS emu? none.

Madden & Asphalt speed up try killing apps in the background and set the connection to airplane mode. if you have the gsm version of the phone try to root it sso you can remove some bloatware or freeze the app so it wont startup upon booting the phone.

Moderm Combat 2 excellent game wish it was longer. Even if the graphics arent as beautiful as NOVA 2 the action & QTE gameplay keeps your eyes and fingers glued to the play. However the gamepad are a hit or miss, your better using the D-Pad & screen.

Its not a launcher but close to the psp xmb check out my post here:

PSP games are not compatible with FPSe of N64 emu.

Best thing to optimize the play at this point in time if you have the verizon version is to check that the app has a SD option so you can move a portion to the SD, kill some apps with an app killer so they wont run in the background using up resources. Also for intense graphic games set the phone to airplane mode. If the gsm version & it has not been updated, root it and remove bloatware.
