a pc app that will let me at least see and edit my contacts on my Note 4 ?

I just purchased my Note 4 and I love it.
I come from a Nokia 808 Pureview with Nokia PC Suite that syncs everything and is consultable and I can even send sms using it.
I installed Kies but it seems as though the only thing Kies does is make a package of my contents to store/restore.
But Kies is not consultable. argh.
So please, can you suggest a pc app that will let me at least see and edit my contacts on my Note 4 ?

You dont have your contacts backed up to a gmail account? You can add, delete, and edit all contacts from your gmail account on your pc. I use it daily.

I was looking for a "closed" system on my computer as internet access is not always easy where I live and travel... but I always have my laptop.

Contacts stored in Google Contacts, as suggested here, is the best way.

If you want to do "offline" editing of the contacts, go to your Google account, and export your contacts list in .csv format.

Download it to an excel spreadsheet, edit, and import back into your Google account the next time you have internet.
