Ad-hoc party for android?

So is there a way to create an ad-hoc connection with my phone for my PSP? I know pdanet uses a Bluetooth connection that's similar to ad-hoc. Im just tired of having to actively find others to monster hunt with.

Ad-hoc connection can be created through your iPad or iphone but for that you have to follow some steps to establish the connection and you have to integrate a Wi-Fi card into your pc.You have to open your control panel and in network connection you have to add a preferred network and then go to wireless network properties and name your wireless network and then follow these steps:
