The ADT package .0.9.4 for Eclipse has no platforms included with the download, as noted in the readme file of the download. The install of the ADT completes in Eclipse(Galileo - build 20090619-0625).

The install guide( installing SDK Components) says to select from eclipse the Window/Android SDK and AVD Manager, and shows a window which is to pop-up to add emulators, that window never pops-up. Looking at the log in eclipse there are no error messages generated.

Is there a way to just get the folder with the platforms in it?

Also in eclipse ,the screen shots I've seen on this post of creating new android project all are missing the section that shows the "Build Target" section.

The missing pop-up window is caused by not having the path statement specified correctly in the environment variable window. Correcting or adding in the path makes the pop-up window in eclipse open properly
