Help ADW and turtle photoframe widget

anyone had problems running these 2 together??

running adw as my homescreen but when i try to load the turtle photoframe...ADW force closes

anyone know of decent alternatives?

An alternative to turtle photoframe or an alternative to ADW, I use turtle pf with live home, no problem. The one thing I would say about turtle is, that it seems to use a lot of battery, so turn the frequency of change down to 9 or 10 seconds. You can always tap the widdget to manually go to next photo.

Give Live Home a try, it has some awesome transition effects (book, cube are nice)

yea...i used live home but changed to ADW due to the fact i can have the same wallpaper on every screen.

eg its exactly the same on every page...not where there all slightly different

i use 'big photo frame' app. however if u reduce the columns and rows it crops the picture - it takes a while to get the pic u want on ur screen. try it.

I am using ADW with Turtle Photo Frame with no FCs.
(since this is the X10 thread I'm assuming you are on donut 1.6 like I am)

Just a random thought... are you using straight ADW or have you got a theme on top... cos the one I tried made it force close quite alot and now I just use the plain launcher.

I am using the MAC os theme i think...will use it standard and see what happens

I'm using ADW with the "ADWTheme Colorless" theme to make my icons grayscale.

Another thought, what other widgets are you running? It force closes for me too and I am running:

battery life widget
^3 Widget
Extended Controls
3G Watchdog

I'm also running "^3" and "Extended Controls" but not the other 2 you list.

i only use battery life widget from your list

I am using ADW with loads of widget - never have any force close - but there being my answer - i don't run any themes
