When you get to the ruins it smells of death and curry mostly death. There is an old welcome center that had been run down that serves as the entrance to the ruins. The door is locked

There is a loud bang as T'res cut the old door in half. From the now open doorway you can see several bodies moving around inside...they are surprised by the loud entrance and look different from the other zombies

You also hear a hissing sound from the frame of the door

I look in closely and try to figure out how many zombies are in there.

Smith sees approx 4 bodies inside. The door frame is hissing and there is a live gernade on the ground in the doorway as well

Now I see why the gunsmith gave me 5 when I offered to take 3 of these grenades... a fuse that takes hours? C'mon!

We are in combat, the world is basically paused until everyone performs an action. Each round is just a few seconds...this is why I call the game slow moving the gernade fuse will last 2 rounds...

Seeing Sparky's grenade bounce near a zombie, I pull out my loaded rifle and fire at a zombie that is farthest from the grenade.

Smith fires into the room and his fireball goes up when it hits the back wall not harming anything. You do get to see into the room however these aren't zombies (so stop calling them that ) but rather they look like living people who have had their faces sanded down, they lack bottom jaws and are completely bald. Based on their eyes you would think they either hate you or are nearly overcome by pain curently.
