Help after charging have to take battery to get it to boot

My san francisco worked fine until recently.

Now if i leave it charging overnight the only way i can get it come on again is to remove and re-insert the battery.

Appreciate any ideas. I'm on android 2.3.3

Edit: It now seems to have fixed itself!
