after DNS change and change back Phones stopped getting email

Exchange 2010 SP1 , I have changed the A record for OWA.mycompany.com for a test and then changed it back to the original value. This was over 14 hours ago the Exchange off line connectivity analyzer shows no issue . It is using active synch to get the mail to the phone


I have set up mail on a android phone that never had this mail on it , so I have a feeling that if i were to blow away the config on one of the existing phones it would connect .

I there an easier way to do this ?



It looks as if you cannot remove the battery in some phones , what is the hardest reset I can do with out blowing away the email profile ?
