ok got my moment flashed with ZE07.
Now I'm looking for a easy to follow thread about how to remove some of the unused Sprint Apps that hog the battery to no end.
Also I was wondering what apps you guys have removed and seen a big battery life improvemant.
I pretty much just need my phone to be able to send/recieve txt,pic mail, web browse and maybe a good calculator. I have a stand alone GPS so I can get rid of all gps stuff.

Thx I have read that a few times.
If you navigate to your /tools/ folder in your SDK folder at the command line, and type "ADB DEVICES" and see your phone, your golden. Don't proceed till you can.

I assume he is saying install the sdk to your pc then attach your phone normaly, then open a command prop from the pc and navigate to the tools folder?

Press and HOLD the CALL, TRACKPAD, and END buttons all at once. Sitting it on a table and using three fingers works well. Continue to hold ALL THREE buttons as the status bar fills, then flashes green. Now you are in "Test Mode"

When I do this it comes up as a Android System Recovery Utility. Is this test mode? Because if I type ADB SHELL I already get the /# sign without typing in:
    Code (Text):
    1. cd /system/bin
    2. cat btld_testmode > ../btld_testmode
    3. cat sh >> btld_testmode
    4. cat sh > btld_testmode

    Do not use these instructions!!!!
btld_testmode is highly unstable and is the old way to root the phone.. you have a root already in the kernel by zefies code.. when you enter recovery mode (test mode has been removed for safety reasons) you phone automatically mounts the sd card and enters root user...

People really need to start checking the wiki out

can you get into recovery? go to sdx-developers and download the file in this thread: CL14 Theme Template NOW de-odex'd

put it on your sdcard and load it from recovery...

    your job soon!
    upstairs
Odin would work if you put the cl14 with cj05 tar in the formula! Just happened to me and don't have a pc handy yet so I am just going to make the best with the stock theme til then! How did the above post work out for you?
