I think you can set it if you go into "clock"...? I'm just so used to tapping the clock on my Beautiful Home Widget

Yes you can set from the clock as before but the stand alone app in the drawer is gone?

the app is no longer available for 2.2 users, they just combined it with the clock app.

Before updating to 2.2 I had a shortcut to the Alarm app in a folder. After updating, the shortcut is still there and still titled "Alarm" and it takes me directly to the alarm selection screen. For those of you who have yet to update to 2.2, if you want to keep a shortcut to your alarm, make sure you make a shortcut on a homescreen before updating
