Help Alarm Clock not working after phone got lollipoped

When in silent mode my alarm clock doesn't make any noise. I'm using Alarm Clock Xtreme and before the update I could put my phone in silent so as to not be interrupted all night but now it will only vibrate. I need the sound as the weak vibrator in this phone is not enough to get me up. Any help?

I'm still on 4.4.4 and using Alarm Clock Plus which will over-ride the system settings in KitKat.

I have the same issue thanks to the update. I just put it in Airplane mode and leave the volume up when I need to use the alarm.
