Alarm Tones?

    Is there any way I can choose different music or tones for my alarm clock and not what comes on my phone?

    I tried the idea I saw of making a folder labeled "alarms" in my sd card. No go.

    Anyone?

    move "Alarms" to your phone. Should work. It does on mine.

    Did you kick the media scanner to pick up the new tones in the Alarms folder you created?
    The folders (alarms, notifications and ringtones) approach has worked for all 7 Android devices that I have owned. Sometimes the media scanner doesn't trigger - a reboot or using one of the many free apps from the Play store to trigger a rescan should work whether the folders are on the phone or the memory card.

    so create a tone and move it into the alarms folder on the phone?
    or the same but in the notification folder?

    Alarms folder for alarm tones, etc.

    just move your current alarms folder from card to phone.

    ES File Explorer is in Play store and free if you need something to do this.

    I have an app named mp3 ringtone maker and after you choose one of your own songs on your phone and custom select a section of a song when you save it you choose if its a ringtone alarm tone and one thing (can't remember) and you select and save. And

    WHAMMY

    It's there.
