Help Alarm

Hello, I've had my alarm set for the past week for the morning and it has failed to go off everyday. Phone is switched on and charging over night and the alarm boxes ticked correctly. If i set the alarm to off during the day, it does, but doesn't in the mornings for some reason?

Anyone else have similar problems?

I do actually, never thought it could be doing it. its advanced task killer,it doesn't come up "alarm" on it though, i'll have too look into it. Cheers

99% of the time, it's the task killer that causes the problem. You are probably killing the clock.

In all honesty, they are relativity useless for android (unless an app was programmed incorrectly).

Try removing the task killer (and making sure the ALARM volume is up) and watch it work

It will Maybe give it a reboot now, just to make sure the clock service is started.

Worked fine this morning, so thanks for the advice. Task killer won't be back near it.

I've had the same problem. Advanced task killer installed.

Still doesn't explain why your alarm goes off in the pm but not in the am?

I've added the clock to the ignore list in advanced task killer. We'll see tomorrow if my alarm wakes me up!

If you go into the clock app, the service starts until you kill it again.

Please, please, please uninstall the task killer. It is no good, unnecessary and makes you phone perform worse.
