What is the purpose of AllShare? I thought it was to be able to wirelessly transfer stuff from your desktop to your phone. Is that not correct? How does AllShare work?

I love this phone, but syncing stuff from my mac to the phone has been a complete bear. I've been spoiled with the syncing ease of the iPhone. Someone talk me off the ledge! :D

Allshare is for DLNA - it's for streaming to/from TV's, XBOX360, Windows 7 pc's, Blue-Ray players, etc... Obviously, whatever device you're trying to use as a client, must have the firmware/software for it.

For example, on my Samsung TV, I can either start it by browsing the phone from the TV, or I can start it on the phone as a push, by creating a playlist from media on the phone/mSD card.
