So yesterday I go into work and the desk is cluttered so I start cleaning it off. Moving stuff around up onto the shelves and everything.

Well I set my Dinc down on the desk and as I was taking a box down from one of the shelves I accidentally hit the first aid kid and the Aloe Vera Burn Can Spray and they both fall off the shelve and I watch in slow motion and they head right for my dinc and verbally scream "noooooooooooooo"

They landed right beside it...*pew* that was Def enough excitement for one day there :(

    Similar scare story...

Had just gotten home after work and my roommate got a dog recently (I am a huge dog lover so I could never hate this dog for what she almost did). Anyways, she (Bubbie) is a pit/terrier mix, basically a slightly smaller version of a pit. She came into my room while i was laying on my bed and decided she wanted to play. She grabbed the first thing she saw with her mouth...which happened to be my DINC in the N1 case. And continued to start barking and flailing her head around to get me to start a tug of war match with a 300 dollar phone.

Long story short, I frantically picked the dog up and held her upside down for a sec to distract her and she dropped the phone, no damage...not even any slobber on the case. Very very surprised.

Are you guys really that materialistic about your phones? So much so, that you are willing to take time out of your day to post about it?! I'm sure I am not the only one tired of seeing these posts... Spam your FB, save these forums for useful information.

Do you really have that little to do that you would read posts about people who are materialistic about their phones. So much so, that they are willing to take time out of their day to post about it?

To let people talk about their phone!

p.s. Read the thread title, it provided insight into what you might find if you read the thread.

I believe this is the general section where anything can be posted...are you really arrogant enough to read a post you have no interest in just to voice your unnecessarily negative opinion??

Relax man, this forum is for your experiences with this phone. Had you not posted in it, it probably would have dropped off the main page and out of your life forever. I hope more people comment just to piss you off, hey OP...got anymore stories??

    Here's one:

The other day I was driving with the incredible on my lap (I know, stupid huh?) Well you'll never believe what happened next. Guess???

    Ok, give up?

Well I stopped short, some guy in front of me stopped short because some guy in front of him had to stop short. That meant that I had to stop short. My wife always tells me I tailgate. Whatever I say but maybe I should start listening.

Here's where the story gets good. So I stopped short and the Inc slid off my lap into the center console of my car. I was almost lost my lunch. I was certain it was broken or worse, had a cosmetic scratch!

Lucky for me it looks perfect. I did a reboot and it still works. Then I ran some diagnostics and realized that it seems to be OK.

Geez, moral of the story: Stop reading threads you don't give a shit about!

    Here's mine:
I don't have my Dinc yet but sometime after I get it I'll probably drop it and think "OH CRAP" in slow motion as I watch it hit the floor. I will then be very anxious for the 2.4 seconds it takes me to pick up the phone. The sense of relief when I see that there is no damage will be epic. EPIC I say!!!

Not trying to be a jerk...I'm all about reading actual damage to your phone, but close calls? Really?

Its not being materialistic when you just bought a phone....waited over a month to receive then you damage it? Or in my case Almost damage it?

So excuse me that I thought it was a somewhat funnyish story and for people to share their other stories in ONE thread rather than seeing 10new ones pop up everyday.

And I am glad you continue to waste time out of your day to read my meaningless posts and to reply to them...kinda adds meaning..doesnt it? ^_^
