    Hi there

I have a Desire on Virgin Mobile and recently installed the froyo ota update.

Well, the phone will no longer boot (loops at white screen with HTC logo).

It will also not boot into recovery (I get red ! and triangle)

    I have tried:

    1. Downloading and running PB99IMG_Bravo_Virgin_Mobile_1.23.351.1_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_128941_signed.zip but get 'use appropraite ROM' error.

    2. Factory reset from HBOOT (clear storage data option).

I do not have a gold card and cannot make one as I can't boot, so my question is...

Is there anything I can do to get my phone up and running again, rather than sending it back to Virgin for them to play with?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

That RUU is going backwards to 2.1. You cannot use that in this case.

To get to recovery from the red triangle press Vol Up + Power.

You should be able to factory reset it from there.

Failing that, you may just need to tell Virgin if it was all Official.
